Google launched its new “Google One” cloud storage plans back in May and started rolling its paid storage customers over to the new service. The thing is, for backups of your website alone, you should have a cloud account, and really for so much more, it is the way to go. Is there a chance you could lose your cloud-stored data? Maybe, but it's more likely the old hard drive or NAS you have around will fail than that is to happen. And, if you want to go belt-and-suspenders, do both!
